In a unexpected partnership that challenges conventional predictions, Ubisoft has announced an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Revealed

According to the official announcement, "A strange meeting pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where whispers of banned ceremonies and terrifying changes echo through the obscurity." The narrative introduces a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a hidden sect.

The adventure focuses on "strange tests and a terrifying adversary" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Transformations

The trailer showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview concludes with a striking sequence showing a character, probably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the quest will obtain an unique katana together with several artifacts concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
